It is hard to believe that this artist, who I have been following for many years, still has not achieved famedom or his work has even become remotely mass produced. A few prints here and there allow the not as serious art collectors take a piece home with them. But honestly this artist’s prices are very reasonable for the type of magic that you recieve with one of his paintings. Here are a few more examples of his work. Dearly Divided.

Today, there is change in the air and it isn’t the kind that you can spend. With that said though we can use this time to decide what life is worth, how, who and what our actions effect and what we want for tomorrow while enjoying the breath of this very moment. Change is inevitable. How much will it be worth to you dear reader? How united are we really?

The Arts Ambassador program is about identifying a communty’s strengths and creativity, also recognizing it’s weaknesses and the problems that may be affecting the community’s well being as a whole. Once this is completed the state’s Arts Ambassador leads a project that can help strengthen the community while tackling the “issue”. (This assesment is actually an ongoing task but the initial assesment is the hardest part and it is the only place to start from.)

This painting was created in the 1997/98 time period by David Heatwole and is somewhat a self portrait of the artist sharing a dream with others.
